Yukie Adams
In 1988, she was chosen for a purchase award at the 3rd annual Southwest Alaska Native Art Exhibit in Sitka, Alaska. She moved to Washington State the next year. She studied the North-west coast Indian Design at University of Washington, under Marvin Oliver in 1990.
Since 1990, Yukie Adams has been creating silkscreen prints, paintings and designs. After her husband Henry Adams passed away in 1994, she started the wood carivng.
Yukie Adams is a shareholder of Alaska Native Corporation.
Yukie Adams is a Member of Native Arts Council, Seattle Art Museum
